ROOFING TRAINING
As an accredited Assessment Centre for CSkills (CITB), the South West Training Group is able to offer The Specialist Applied-Skills Programme (SAP) roofing training in 2 roofing disciplines:
  • NVQ Level 2 Diploma in Roofing Occupations - Roof Slater and Tiler
  • NVQ Level 2 Diploma in Cladding Occupations - Roof Sheeting and Cladding
The training programme is a 12 month off-site training and qualification programme at one of our dedicate training centres in either Exeter, Devon or Melksham, Wiltshire.  There is a further 6 month on-site assessment period, where one of our fully qualified assessors will visit the new entrant on-site and asses the delegate at work.

The programme offers the practical and theoretical knowledge required to achieve the NVQ Level 2 qualification.  Once achieved, the new entrant will be able to apply for their blue ‘Skilled Worker’ CSCS card.
Please note: the delegate must complete the Health and Safety test (specific to working at heights) in the last 2 years in order to apply for this card.
